T he Glasshouse, is a 5 * city centre boutique hotel situated in the heart of Edinburgh. The artwork used for this project was carefully sourced from Scottish artists and an official photographer to the Edinburgh Festival. The theme revolved around theatre, architecture and the Edinburgh Festival.
T his project was installed over a number of phases and required the close cooperation of hotel management and staff to ensure the installation was completed with the minimum disruption to hotel guests. All artwork was installed using concealed security fittings.
T he design for this installation incorporated modern swept framed mirrors, black and white images of Glasgow landmarks with a contemporary twist and Glasgow’s City Crest (the bird that never flew, the tree that never grew, the bell that never rang and the fish that never swam).
A mix of contemporary and traditional frames were selected and all artwork was installed using concealed security fittings.
W ith a significant music connection there was no doubting the artwork theme for this well-known Perth bar. A montage of brightly coloured themed artwork and traditional signage was combined to convey a wholly eclectic art installation.
T raditional bric a brac was used to decorate the fireplace, bookshelf and display unit. A mix of contemporary and traditional frames were selected and all artwork was installed using concealed security fittings.
T he design for this installation incorporated traditional swept framed mirrors, black/white and coloured photographs of Renfrew and aeronautical images related to Renfrew’s association with Abbotsinch Airport.

T his project demanded a mix of contemporary art and the use of traditional olde Inn and pub style imagery. Local history also played a part in the project; therefore historical images specific to the location were included within the project brief.
T he artwork was framed utilising an arrangement of contemporary black/gold frames and cream mounts. A mixed method installation design utilising linear and randomised combination groupings complemented the use of traditional and modern imagery.
A n eclectic wall art design was the main thrust of this project. Modern art was sourced both within the UK and internationally to provide a truly unique montage of wall art. The use of 3d objects, box frames and large framed mirrors added to the distinctiveness of the project.
T he artwork was framed using contemporary style mouldings in a mix of wood, gold and silver finishes. Randomised groupings were necessary to convey the eclectic nature of the design, all artwork was installed using concealed security fittings.
T he artwork chosen for Zyka restaurant and bar utilised restaurant and café bar images framed in black and silver mouldings with cream mounts. For the restaurant, India specific images were chosen to reflect the contemporary upmarket Indian restaurant specification contained in the design brief. However, in a separate bar area, café bar images were considered more appropriate to the overall theme.
T he art was installed using a mainly linear design where picture lights lights and fixed seating areas were used as obvious art installation focal points. All the art was installed using concealed security fittings.
T his project involved a design brief where each floor and corridor of the hotel was specifically themed across a variety of images ranging from traditional Scottish landscapes to sport and golf.
O nce the frame type and images were agreed by the hotelier and designer the artwork was installed using traditional fixings. As the hotel was operating during the installation process we adopted a phased approach working closely with hotel staff to ensure that this occurred with the minimum disruption to residents and hotel operations.

T his project involved the selection of traditional ale house imagery framed using various dark wood mouldings with the images complement by utilising cream mounts. Custom made mirrors manufactured to specific requirements were also included within the design specification
